COURSE INFORMATION

What range of courses do you offer?

Whilst we do not run any courses ourselves, Waxman Training Academy provide the training hub used by both Robinsons and NAPIT for a variety of solid fuel and electrical courses.

What Solid Fuel courses are held at your academy?

Through Robinsons our Training Academy hosts a range of HETAS courses from the ‘Foundation to Installer’ course to help kickstart your career in solid fuels, to three-day intense programs for experienced installers. Robinsons also offer refresher courses which all practising installers are required to take every five years to help top up their knowledge and ensure work carried out adheres to the latest industry standards.

Whichever stage you’re at in your career, find out the best course for you or book your place by contacting Robinsons:

What do I need to study before attending a Waxman Training Academy course?

Some of the courses held at our centre will require prerequisites, however, these will be clearly noted when booking with one of our partners. It is always useful to familiarise yourself with any Building Regulations which govern the installation of specific technologies.

What should I bring with me when attending a course at Waxman Training Academy?

The training academy houses a number of working rigs and fault finding systems and therefore attendees are advised to bring clothing which would be appropriate as ‘workwear’ including steel-toe cap boots. These should be clearly explained before beginning your course, but if in doubt, please contact Robinsons or NAPIT.

When do your courses run?

To find out when your course of interest is running, please contact Robinsons for solid fuel courses and NAPIT for electrical courses. The relevant training provider will be clearly displayed on each course page.

Where is the Waxman Training Academy and where can I park?

Parking is free on-site for all attendees with all courses taking place in our purpose-built training facility in Elland, West Yorkshire – conveniently situated near Junction 24 of the M62.
